How to Fix Resin 3D Print Supports Failing on Detailed Models

Nothing is more frustrating than a 10-hour print failing because the supports gave out. When printing highly detailed Marvel or Anime 3D STL models, supports are everything.

1. Increase Contact Depth

If your models are falling off the supports, increase the contact depth by 0.1mm. This gives the support a better grip on the model.

2. Check Your FEP Sheet

A cloudy or scratched FEP sheet increases peel force, which can rip your model off the supports. Tune it or replace it!

3. Hollow Your Models

Large figures, like our Epic Comic Heroes, should be hollowed to 2mm wall thickness. Add drainage holes to relieve suction cup pressure.

4. Use High-Quality STLs
